Work in a collaborative research and discovery environment that focuses on the quality of financial reporting, disclosure and governance practice of SEC registrants. Use screening and data collection tools to assist analysts in writing reports that provide institutional investors with analysis and intelligence about unrecognized risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
Graduate student with a Bachelor's degree in accounting or pursuing a Master's degree in accounting
Working knowledge of original accounting pronouncements and SEC rules and regulations
Proficient in Word
Experience performing financial modeling in Excel (Access also helpful)
Good understanding of general business processes and procedures
Good analytical, verbal, and writing skills
Strong interest in accounting research
Ability to work independently

Using Excel, be able to model financial statement data and perform trend analysis that clearly portrays issues discovered. In addition to having a working knowledge of original pronouncements and SEC rules and regulations, be able to research technical accounting issues with database research tools. Collect data for analyst reports and be able to trace data back to its source for verification. Work independently on ad hoc projects as assigned.

We are looking for a developer that can manage an entire project lifecycle, from gathering user requirements to code deployment.
